Although there have been a relatively small number of incidents, a few students at TES have suffered instances of cyber bullying - an issue we have very actively addressed with both students and parents - holding successful workshops with the latter.
We are concerned this form of bullying will increase and perhaps we are in any case only aware of the "tip of the iceberg".

John
You mentioned workshops for parents ... was it a specific scheme you used or home grown workshops?

An ongoing issue of where and how we addressand get information out about these issues. We have run parent workshops and address these issues in school, however, I agree it matbe the tip of the iceburg. We also had a very difficult issue with U-Tube that we have still not resolved.

Keeping up to date with IT is a challenge.....I feel we need to set up an opportunity for our ICT co-ordinators to mee as a group at least once a year to share their development, successes and frustrations, as we all will gain from such a forum.
